Why a quiz works
A quiz lander is a short survey (2-5 questions) before the offer. The psychology:
- Micro-commitment — once they click the first answer, the user is already "in" and wants to reach the result;
- Personalization — "we'll find the right solution just for you" raises perceived value;
- Warming up — while answering, the user becomes aware of the problem and gets ready to act;
- Soft transition — the offer at the end reads like a "personal recommendation" rather than an in-your-face ad.
Anatomy of a quiz
- A hooky first screen — "Take this 30-second test and find out…";
- 2-5 simple questions — with button options (not text fields!);
- "Analyzing…" — a short loading screen (reinforces the sense of personalization);
- Result + offer — "Based on your answers, the right fit for you is…" → CTA.
Questions should be easy and fun, effortless — each one nudges engagement higher.
Which verticals
- Nutra — "what's your body type / problem?" → product match (a perfect fit, see the guide);
- Dating — "who are you looking for?" → sign-up;
- Finance/crypto — "what's your investing experience?" → platform;
- Gambling — "pick your bonus" as a game-style quiz.
The quiz and the white page
The quiz is part of the funnel for the real user (a pre-lander), not for the moderator. The moderator still has to see the white page through the cloak. In other words, the quiz doesn't replace the white page — it boosts conversion of traffic that's already engaged (the quiz sits in the funnel between the click and the offer).
Takeaway
The quiz is one of the strongest tactics for lifting CR: micro-commitment + personalization + a soft transition to the offer. It's especially powerful in nutra and dating. Think of it as an add-on to other conversion tactics. Grab landers and pre-landers (including interactive ones) on order or from the pool.
